Lexus has confirmed plans to unveil two updated models at this week’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance without going into detail over the identity of the vehicles. The reveal will take place Thursday, August 13, at 7 p.m. PDT, and we already have a pretty good idea as to what is coming.

One is likely to be the updated LX 570, leaked shots of which have been showing up online for the past several weeks. The updated LX, which will be introduced for the 2016 model year, receives new styling inside and out. Importantly, this will be the last major update before the big SUV is completely redesigned in the next two to three years.

The identity of the second model isn’t as certain though we suspect it will be an updated GS. Lexus’ new GS F unveiled at January’s Detroit Auto Show came with a completely different headlight design to the one used on the standard GS. Incidentally, the standard GS made its own debut in Monterey back in 2011. Expect the updated GS, which most likely will also be introduced for the 2016 model year, to adopt the new headlight design shown on the GS F in addition to several other updates.

We'll have all the details in just a couple of days but in the meantime head to our Pebble Beach hub for our complete coverage of this week's happenings in Monterey.
