We now have the official photos of the new 2007 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra. These trucks represent two of General Motors Company’s [NYSE:GM] most important vehicles, and are the figure of GM’s confidence that rising fuel costs will NOT deter buyers from such vehicles.

The new models will include three different body styles and some models will have specially tuned suspension. Based on the GMT-900 series of trucks, the new vehicles have been improved in fuel efficiency and towing capacity, and are said to have class leading interior quality.

Only time will tell if these new trucks will help The General in the long run.
