Bugatti’s upcoming topless Veyron

This is an artist’s impression of the targa version of Bugatti’s hypercar courtesy of Germany’s Auto Motor und Sport magazine. The car which is currently in development will have an estimated price tag of close to US$2 million and will have a top speed somewhat lower than the hardtop’s 250mph. The roof will consist of a removable panel that has to be moved by hand and stowed away before driving. The idea of installing a complicated, folding hardtop was discarded due to the limited storage area behind the Veyron’s cabin.
