Audi is set to introduce a redesigned R8 supercar for the 2016 model year, so that means the current model, first revealed all the way back in 2006, will soldier on for one more year. To help keep sales brimming, Audi is offering a number of special features on the R8 for the 2015 model year, one of which is a new performance package.

Buyers of the 2015 Audi R8 can look forward to new exterior paint options and brake calipers painted red. For the interior, there is a new quilted-leather option as well as a diamond-stitched Alcantara headliner.

Anyone opting for the R8 V10 model can choose a new sport exhaust option, and later in the 2015 model year a new performance package will be introduced. Audi hasn’t said what the performance package will include, but the automaker says it will be offered in limited numbers.

No changes have been made to the powertrain lineup, meaning the base R8 powered by a 4.2-liter V-8 continues with its 420-horsepower rating. The R8 V10 gets a 5.2-liter V-10 engine good for 525 hp, and the range-topping R8 V10 Plus gets a 550-hp version of this engine. Both manual and S tronic dual-clutch gearboxes continue to be available. Sadly, there’s been no mention of the 570-hp R8 LMX being offered in the U.S. market.

The 2015 Audi R8 range goes on sale this summer. Full pricing is listed below, and note that all R8 models attract an additional $1,250 destination charge.
