British magazine Auto Express has the first images of the hot new MINI Clubman, previously shown to us as a concept car. The stretch MINI will have Mazda RX-8 style suicide doors and twin rear doors, giving it a unique look compared to other smallish cars on the market.

The rear doors have hinges hidden behind the tail lights, and the lights move with the doors when opened. Auto Express also claims that the Clubman will have enough space to seat five adults and their luggage in comfort, though we’ll have to see this to believe it. Engine options include the new 1.6L petrol unit being co-developed with Peugeot in naturally aspirated and turbo form, and a diesel variant.
