Following yesterday’s shock announcement that actor Matt LeBlanc, most famous for his role as Joey Tribbiani on the hit sitcom Friends, is set to join British presenter Chris Evans as one of the co-hosts in the new season of Top Gear, we now have further evidence that suggests British car journo Chris Harris may also be on the show.

This photo was posted yesterday by Evans to his Twitter account. It shows what Evans describes as the “weekly TG production meeting” and it includes Harris. He’s the guy in a white shirt, fourth from the left.

Harris has provided his journalistic and driving skills for production of previous Top Gear episodes starring Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May, so he being at the production meeting doesn’t necessarily mean he’ll be hosting.

Nevertheless, we heard in December that he’ll be hosting the show along with Evans and German driving instructor Sabine Schmitz. Schmitz has been spotted during filming for some of the new episodes, though she recently made comments that suggested she won't be hosting.

We’ll know more soon as the first episode of the new season is set to premiere on BBC Two on May 8. Meanwhile, Amazon Prime’s new show starring Clarkson, Hammond and May is also in production and is expected to premiere sometime in the fall of 2016.
