Maybach launched the 62 S in Peking this month, the limo that’s being touted as the "strongest Chauffeur sedan in the world." The luxury maker has enlisted the help of AMG to squeeze out 612hp (450kW) with 1000Nm of torque from the bi-turbo 6L V12 motor. The extra 62hp (45kW) over the regular model allows the pointless performance-limo to reach 100km/h from rest in just 5.2 seconds, all the way to an electronically controlled speed of 250km/h.

To further differentiate the S from the regular 62, Maybach has added niceties such as the custom multi-spoked 20in wheels and a slightly different front end, which includes a new headlight design. The interior features piano gloss surfaces, carbon or anthracite coal trim and leather lined equipment. At the rear is a modified apron with two integrated squared off exhaust pipes. Prices are yet to be released, but if you have to ask then you probably can’t afford it.
