In this video, Volvo Cars Design Director Steve Mattin talks about the first Volvo concept he’s had the chance to design from the ground up. The concept itself is stunning and is almost certain for production. We especially like the interior details but they're the parts most likely to get the cut when the crossover moves into dealerships.

We must warn you though, this video contains designer buzzwords such as “design DNA.” It seems to be the new catchphrase for design directors around the world.

    The new Volvo looks like a bubble-car from the 3/4 profile.
