These images reveal Alpina’s new B3 Biturbo ahead of its expected unveiling at next week’s 2007 Geneva Motor Show. The car is based on the already potent 335i from BMW and is said to develop close to 360 horsepowere from its twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter straight-six engine. That’s an extra 60 hp over the official ratings for the standard 335i.

With its electronic speed limiter removed, the B3 Biturbo should reach up to 177 mph and complete the 0-62 mph sprint in less than 5 seconds. Once again, the B3 Biturbo range will be offered in sedan, wagon, coupe and convertible bodystyles. Diesel-powered D3 Biturbo models will also be on offer.

Another highly tuned model based on the 5-Series sedan is also rumored to be making a showing in Geneva. The car will be an upgraded version of the current B5 Biturbo model and is expected to deliver even more than the current car’s output of 500 hp.
