MINI has announced that its new model, due for launch by the end of the year, will be called the Clubman. The car will be based on a concept car displayed at the 2015 Frankfurt Auto Show, which featured a shooting brake body. This latest computer-generated rendering gives a close indication as to how the new Clubman will look like.

As previously reported, the Clubman receives smaller suicide-style rear doors as well as new headlamps and a higher positioned hood. There are rumors that the rear door will feature a split opening system and the roof offered with a pair of sunroofs.

MINI has also revealed its new Convertible Sidewalk at this week's 2006 Geneva Motor Show. The new car features a choice of four paintwork colors, 17-inch light alloy wheels, a two-tone leather steering wheel, plus special interior trim, floor mats, badges and door inserts.
