We haven’t seen or heard much about Maserati’s new GranTurismo since its debut at the Geneva Motor Show back in March, but lucky visitors at this month’s Goodwood Festival of Speed were treated with the car’s first “on the road” appearance. The new GT was entered into Goodwood's Supercar Run, which saw the likes of Caparo’s new T1, Glickenhaus’ P4/5 Enzo and the 2008 GT-R prototype entertaining the crowd.

Despite wet conditions, 150,000 spectators turned up to see the parade of exotics climbing up Goodwood Hill, with supercar aficionado and Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason, reigning World Superbike Champion Troy Bayliss and supermodel Jodie Kidd on hand to drive the cars.
