Jaguar’s XF saloon has been spotted while in transport ahead of its scheduled launch in the second half of next year. This the first time the car has been caught without major camouflage, giving us a full view of the rear styling and most of the flanks. From the images, it’s clear the new model’s styling has been heavily influenced by Jaguar’s C-XF concept car but the production version loses the chiseled waistline and picks up a more conventional roofline.

The spy-shots also reveal that the production version will be getting a new tail-light design, dropping the concept’s clear lenses in favor of conventional red plastic lamps. One aspect that has carried over is the leaping cat logo at the back of the bootlid. Head over to Edmunds Straightline to see the images in full or click here to see our preview of the new XF.
