Kia’s latest offering for the style-conscious Euro market is the new pro_cee’d hatch, which will debut at next month’s Frankfurt Motor Show before going on sale early next year. The new pro_cee’d sits lower than its five-door sibling, making it the sportier of the two.

Measuring 4.25m in length, the three-door pro_cee’d is actually longer than the five-door version giving it a more stylish appearance as well as generous storage space. The car’s side-profile is dramatically different to the five-door and the windscreen sits lower too. The side window, C-Pillar and tailgate spoiler are all new and although the rear screen is steeply raked, rear headroom is said to be generous.

The new pro_cee’d will be available with an optional sports pack comprising a set of 17in alloys shod with 225mm rubber, stiffer dampers, a sports theme interior complete with tire-track patterns on the trim, plus alloy pedals and stainless-steel door-scuff plates.

Alongside the new pro_cee’d at the Frankfurt Show will be a new sports coupe concept car that’s said to highlight a new design trend for future Kias. You view a teaser image of the car and read up on some more details by clicking here.
