The new Evo X is unashamedly one of our favorite cars of the year and we suspect it will be at the top of wish lists of many readers as well. Not many cars out there come close to matching the Evo in terms of bang for your buck and it doesn’t hurt that the latest model looks amazing as well, especially up against its ungainly rival from
Subaru. Mitsubishi has just released a series of new shots showing the Evo's technical highlights, which you can view after the jump.

It will, however, always be the dreams of people with spiky hair who like loud exhausts and even loader music (with plenty of bass, please).
And it will always be a 4-door sedan, and without the luxury and status of the M5 or E63.
If going round a track at max speed, or blasting Ferraris is your thing, then this is your car. But for everyday enjoyment and class, for the same money, buy a 350z convertible, Mustang GT convertible, Camaro convertible, even a base SLK. Sometimes the swiss army knife just isn't as interesting or a fun as the nice shiny hunting knife...

Yes, cheap performance cars have the image you mention associated with them, but who cares when you\'re behind the wheel. I\'m sure the Evo X will put many more expensive cars to shame.
