A prototype of Mercedes' upcoming CLC Sportcoupe has been spotted on German streets and this time spy photographers have managed to get a good look of the interior of the upcoming car. The images clearly show the car's new shape, including the new front-end, which appears almost identical to the C-class sedan.

Though it won't be arriving in showrooms until a month after its Geneva debut next March, its mechanicals will be based on the previous-generation C-class model in an effort to keep costs low, according to earlier reports. There's word also that it may be produced in Brazil rather than Germany and be sold in a limited number of markets.

Like the current model, the new Sportcoupe range will feature several different four-cylinder variants but may include new V6 petrol and diesel versions as well. The range-topper will be powered by Mercedes' 272hp 3.5L V6, but we wouldn't be surprised if a brand new AMG version is released.

  1. I am very much interested in buying the CLC Sportcoupe. I am in the US military and station in Germany. My question, Is the CLC sportcoupe made with American specs? If not now, Do you know when?

    Thank you

  2. Okay, so you don't like the Coupe? Get over it. Don't lay awake any longer on this issue. Just let it go. Better for your health. Enjoy your Geo.
