A prototype of Mercedes' upcoming CLC Sportcoupe has been spotted on German streets and this time spy photographers have managed to get a good look of the interior of the upcoming car. The images clearly show the car's new shape, including the new front-end, which appears almost identical to the C-class sedan.

Though it won't be arriving in showrooms until a month after its Geneva debut next March, its mechanicals will be based on the previous-generation C-class model in an effort to keep costs low, according to earlier reports. There's word also that it may be produced in Brazil rather than Germany and be sold in a limited number of markets.

Like the current model, the new Sportcoupe range will feature several different four-cylinder variants but may include new V6 petrol and diesel versions as well. The range-topper will be powered by Mercedes' 272hp 3.5L V6, but we wouldn't be surprised if a brand new AMG version is released.
