Abt Audi AS4 Tuning Program

If you have an Audi A4 and feel like it needs some improvement - and you live near Germany - Abt’s Audi AS4 tuning program may be just what you’re looking for. Abt’s refinement of the car’s looks and handling improve the driving experience while increased power gives the car some serious speed, no matter which engine you have.

The stock A4 is available with a 1.8L tubrocharged petrol motor good for 160hp, a 2.0L turbodiesel making 143hp, a 2.7L turbodiesel with 190hp or a 3.0L turbodiesel starts at 240hp. This dizzying array of motor choices (for the lucky Europeans, that is) is no problem for Abt - it has developed a tuning kit for each, providing anwyhere from 30-60hp increases depending upon the engine you start with. Abt uses high-output turbos to meet the need for speed.

But more power isn’t the only part of the tuning program. The exterior is thoroughly but conservatively revised. The front, sides and rear of the car get new skirts. A rear spoiler and quad exhausts give the rear a look that says the AS4 is all about business. And the sport-tuned suspension and bigger (you can choose anything from 18-20inch) wheels and brakes mean the AS4 can back up its looks with real-world performance.
