This latest promotional video for the BMW M3 gives us an inside look at one of the engine’s cylinders as it’s fired up, all captured by high-speed camera magic. To film the process, photographers had to dissect manifolds, shave cylinders and drill-in special lighting holes. In total, three V8 engines were sacrificed for the clip, which you can watch in full after the jump.

    The narrator for the new commercials has the perfect voice. He used to do Nova specials, just great ads...
