Cadillac tops latest brand satisfaction survey

Wow, are they really that good?
The last Cadillac I drove was my father's 1989 DeVille, and it was crap.

Yeah, Cadillac finally gets it's shit together... just when GM is teetering on the brink of extinction.

And yes gus, the CTS, the new one anyways, is quite spectacular. You dont get the same quality of interior as you would in a 5 series or an E class, but I think on styling, comparable drive, and price, there's really no other option.

The DTS is riding now on the platform that underpinned the last CTS (modified for a larger car of course), and that northstar engine isnt exactly new, but still.... classic. It's like buying an old school black rotary phone, but new. It's old, it's nice, and it works.

I'd like to point out that the S class won "premium luxury" which is a nice category to have because there are premium cars, and there are luxury cars, and there are premium luxury cars. but the "aspirational" category? what the hell does that mean? what would the nominees be in that category? does it mean that it's the car that aspired to beat the established contenders and did? or is doing well? it kind of sounds like getting a "participant" ribbon at a track meet. "thanks for coming out".

regarding the sky, yes.. sexy car, fun to drive, and I like seeing a survey that doesnt say "MX-5" again. the sky (even with a name like "sky") is probably the only manly-ish small 2 seater roadster offered in NA. If ford had a baby mustang like that, I'd buy it.

I don’t know what chris means by extinct, but no big three car company will ever go extinct, for one the government wouldn’t allow it, and 2 if they were struggling they would get bought up by large private equity firm like fortress or blackrock.
