2010 Saleen 435S Unveiled By Saleen Inc. at Mustang Week

Saleen Inc. owned by MJ Acquisitions has unveiled their latest 2010 Saleen Mustang, the 2010 Saleen 435S at Mustang Week in Myrtle Beach, SC as part of the Special Vehicle Team Owners Association event.  This is the first Saleen vehicle launched under the new ownership of Saleen Inc. with no affiliation from Steve Saleen himself.  The Saleen 435S is based off the highly popular refreshed 2010 Mustang GT and is designed to provide affordable, high-value performance.

“In these difficult economic times we wanted our first vehicle to deliver a lot for an affordable price,” said Mike Shields, CEO of Saleen Performance Vehicles. “It was created much more for ‘go’ than for show. We focused on power and handling, and it’s a great platform to build on if a customer wants to take it farther later on.”

Under the hood it's the 4.6-liter 3-valve SOHC V-8 engine mated with a Saleen VI Twin-Screw supercharger and two stage intercooler that produces 435 horsepower and 425 lb-ft of torque.  The transmission used is the 5-speed manual with a 3.73 rear axle ratio with limited-slip differential.

Some of the features found on the Saleen 435S include 1.5-inch lower ride height courtesy of it's Saleen Racecraft Suspension, 4-wheel vented disc brakes, 18-inch five-spoke alloys with 19 & 20-inch wheels optional, leather sport seats, Saleen short-throw shifter, Saleen white face gauges and Saleen 435S graphics package.
