While browsing through the
Dodge Challenger category on Ebay today I came across two very limited production vehicles. The first is the limited edition
SMS 570X with the 'X' standing for extreme and is it ever with it's 700 horsepower V-8 Hemi VCT engine. This aftermarket vehicle comes to us from Steve Saleen's new company SMS Supercars which also builds a less potent Challenger version with 500 horsepower. The 570X comes with a host of aftermarket exterior and interior parts that set this vehicle apart from anything on the road. The MSRP is just south of $100K and the Buy it now is $97,938. here.
The other Challenger I stumbled upon is a limited edition Hurst Hemi R/T Series #2 Challenger. Hurst will only be building 60 limited editions total with around 20 of them being of the Series #2 R/T variety. The Series #2 package includes goodies like 20-inch wheels, shifter, graphics package, Magnaflow exhaust and Eibach suspension. MSRP of the package alone is $18,495. Seller just received the Hurst Hemi Challenger and was forced to sell before he got to enjoy it. Seller has a buy it now price of $65K but has stated in the description the reserve is much lower. Check out the Ebay auction here.
