I know the Las Vegas Barrett-Jackson collector car auction is still a little more than three months away but I could not resist letting you in on one of the Shelby Mustangs up for auction as it's quite rare. The 2007 Shelby Prudhomme Edition Concept will go across the block at the 2009
Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas collector car auction on October 7-10 at the Mandalay Bay hotel and resort. The Prudhomme Edition concept will sell at No Reserve with the highest bidder walking away with one radical looking Shelby Mustang.
If you remember the 800 horsepower Shelby GT500 Super Snake Prudhomme edition was a post title add-on package for owners of 2007-09 Shelby GT500's with it being limited to just 100 copies. Powering the Prudhomme edition Shelby is the 5.4-liter V-8 with an upgraded Kenne Bell supercharger. Other modifications included a rather large Kenne Bell modified air intake sticking out of the hood, five point impact safety harness, Borla side exhaust, bogart wheels with drag or street tires, eight-point roll cage and an adjustable BMR racing suspension. Adding that specific package to your Shelby GT500 was $100K.
Check back down the road for the Las Vegas Barrett-Jackson Mustang auction preview which I like to do before every major auction.
