The Sniper project we wrote about in a previous post back in December has popped up in the news with an update to the project.  The Twin-Turbo Viper V-10 powered SN95 Mustang is alive and kicking with some new video proof and photos.  The video below shows the twin-turbo V-10 powered Mustang starting up and idling.  I know it's like watching paint dry but it's an update to one insane project.  There is also a new set of photos below with the wheels and painted engine.  The Sniper project looks to be in the final tuning stages and we cannot wait till it's streetable.

A little background on this project, Scott Vanderschoor (CobraScott) started this project a few years back using a 1994 SVT Cobra as his starting point. He somehow got his hands on an 8.4-liter Viper V-10 to mate to his Cobra.  He made extensive modifications to the car including pushing back the firewall 10 inches, adding a custom k-member, custom trans mounts and custom 10-point cage. Other goodies included with this build are Twin ball bearing T-76 turbo's, Alcon brakes, coilover suspension and Forgeline wheels.
