2010 Chevrolet Camaro Orders Outpacing Supply According to General Motors

According to General Motors the demand for the all-new 2010 Chevrolet Camaro is outpacing their supply.  Of the 25,000 orders taken to date for the 2010 Camaro only half have been filled.  Dealers are reporting when Camaro's arrive on the lot they are sold within days and sometimes hours, not a bad problem to have.  Most Camaros are selling for around MSRP with some dealers asking more.

Lets hope these dealers won't be as greedy as Ford dealerships were with the 2007 Shelby GT500.  Those dealers were asking $10K to $25K over MSRP which put a black cloud over dealers and the new Shelby model.  I have a feeling it won't be any where near that situation as GM will make as many Camaro's as possible where the GT500 was a limited edition due to supplier constraints.
