Latemodel Restoration Supply, the current owner of the 1989 JBA Dominator GTA Mustang has put it up for auction on Ebay.  Probably one of the most popular and recognizable Fox-Body Mustangs on the planet will be finding a new home real soon if someone can pony up $34,500.  The JBA Dominator with it's widebody front and rear fenders was built in 1989 to be used as a test base for future innovations like independent rear suspension and modular engine platforms.  The car has been on the cover of "Road and Track", "Popular Hot Rodding" , "Super Fords" and most recently the "5.0 and Super Fords" April 2009 issue.

Some of the features found on this fox-body Mustang include a Lightning 351 engine with GT-40 iron heads, custom Cobra intake manifold, 6-speed transmission and a T-bird independent rear suspension (first Mustang with this).  Brakes are 4-wheel disc using Lincoln and T-bird components.  The wheels are custom Monocoque 2-piece (17x9 front, 17x11 rear).  The widebody look is totally custom fabricated sheetmetal work with a look like no other.  This is truly a one-of-a-kind Mustang.

  2. I remember that all white Saleen dubbed "Casper". That car was so sweet. The custom wheels with the holes stood out.
