Livernois Motorsports Claims First 2010 Mustang in the 10's

We knew there was a performance company behind the two 2010 Mustang GT's customized for the Student vs. Auto Shop Teacher drag race and we have now learned it was Livernois Motorsports. The team at Livernois worked their magic creating two 500 horsepower drag Mustangs for the "The '10 Unleashed" contest campaign and one of those Mustangs has run a quarter mile time of 10.888 @ 125 mph. This gives Livernois claim to the first 2010 Mustang in the 10's. Each of the 2010 Mustang GT's had a host of aftermarket parts including a Ford Racing 4.6-liter aluminator SOHC V-8 engine equipped with a Whipple supercharger kit.

Check out the video above for a montage of both 2010 Mustangs along with a dyno run and the record breaking 10 second quarter mile run. Below I have included the list of modifications for both of the 2010 Mustangs.
