We have learned of another "The '10 Unleashed" contest winner and he is 18-year-old Derek Murrell who recently graduated from Lake Mary high school in Lake Mary, Florida just outside of Orlando.  Derek's Mustang dream involved him drag racing his high school auto shop teacher in a 2010 Ford Mustang GT.

His Mustang dream became a reality once he was picked from Ford Motor Company's contest to unleash your inner Mustang through the "The '10 Unleashed" Mustang campaign.  Ford gave Derek and his high school auto shop teacher a pair of specially equipped 2010 Mustang GT's to drag race.  Derek's Mustang was a Kona Blue model while his auto shop teacher's was Red Candy Metallic clearcoat.  Under the hood of both Mustangs is a Ford Racing 4.6-liter Aluminator SOHC V-8 with a Whipple supercharger kit producing 500 horsepower.  Other goodies found on both Mustangs include Ford Racing long tube headers, custom built 3-speed automatic C4 transmission, Cobra Jet suspension kit, Cobra Jet wheels and racing slicks and a Team-Z Motorsports custom 6-point roll cage.

No word on who won the big showdown but we do have a video of Derek's final practice run.  There is also a complete list of the parts found on Derek's Mustang GT below along with photos taken at the drag strip.
