The photo to the left depicts
Ford Racing's new intake manifold they are developing for the modular V-8 Mustang. During a recent Ford Racing Invitational event a
2009 Ford Mustang was outfitted with this prototype Ford Racing intake manifold. The new manifold will fit modular V-8 equipped Mustangs with the sole purpose to boost the engines redline from 6,500 rpm to 7,500 rpm. Adding this intake to your modular V-8 engine will not add horsepower but it will act as a gateway for other bolt-ons like a camshaft, valves, and exhaust systems so they can take advantage of the higher rpm range. The Ford Racing intake manifold will go on sale later this fall with an estimated price of around $650.

Where did you get that information? Was that a direct quote from someone at FRPP or is that your personal take on the intake? I really want to know the answer.
