You don't see to many 1000 plus horsepower Mustangs these days especially ones that can be driven on city streets. That is why this Ebay auction caught my eye. This
2006 Mustang GT is truly a one-of-a-kind Supercar and it was built for the sole purpose of beating a 2009 ZR1 Corvette which it has done. The Mustang features custom Daytona Yellow paint with special dice ghost graphics and custom yellow leather with Option 1 embroidery. At the heart of this Mustang is a custom engine built by the Nickens Brothers in Conroe, Texas. The engine features a GM aluminum 427 cid V-8 block from GM's Le Mans road racing Corvette. It's built with a billet crankshaft, billet connecting rods and special forged pistons. The power adder comes in the form of a Pro-Charger F-1 centrifugal blower with a monster intercooler. A custom fuel induction system, TAZ 20-inch wheels, autometer gauges and a GM HD ZF six-speed transmission round out this insane Mustang.
This Mustang makes 1015 horsepower using 116 octane with a race tune at 18 psi. If you are driving this beast on the street using 93 octane it would make 785 horsepower. The owner claims the Mustang can put out over 1200 horsepower with an all out race tune.
No expense was spared in creating this Mustang and all told the price tag is well over $150,000. Check out the Ebay auction here or the photos below:
