The General has released sales figures for the
2010 Chevrolet Camaro for the month of May and things are going in the right direction like we knew they would. I know we are only two and a half months into Camaro production but you can kinda sense people are digging these cars. For example I was at a
Chevrolet dealer the other day and I overheard a gentlemen asking to see a Camaro, the sales guy told him we don't have any to look at, they have all been sold. This particular dealership sold and delivered 129 Camaros already with more coming that have already been spoken for. If you did not order early you may be waiting awhile.
Sales of the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro for May of 2009 were 5,463 compared to 614 from the previous month showing a rather large increase for month to month sales. Year to date Camaro sales are 6,077. With only two months really to compare we don't have enough data to warrant any sort of assumptions. When June sales numbers roll in we should have two solid months of sales to really compare.
Checking out the competition, Mustang sales were 8,812 and Challenger sales were 2,695.
