Mustangs Across America Rolls Through Lewisville, Texas

Mustangs Across America rolled through my neck of the woods Tuesday.  The convoy of over 230 Mustangs took off from Oklahoma, City Tuesday morning at 8a.m. and cruised down Interstate 35 for their lunch stop at Ford Country of Lewisville in Lewisville, Texas.  I actually got to see some of the Mustangs first hand as my work day started early around 6a.m driving up I-35 into Oklahoma.  When my work was done I headed back to the DFW metroplex down I-35 and it was around 10a.m I started seeing a few Shelby GT500's, 60's Mustangs and a few SN95 stangs.  The pack of Mustangs arrived at the Ford dealership around 11a.m. for a catered lunch with the North Texas Mustang Club and the Mayor of Lewisville.  Ford Country of Lewisville cleared out the entire front lot of the dealership for the MAA participants.  When they left the dealership around 1p.m. they were given a police escort who blocked a full lane of I-35 to make their departure safe.  They then headed to Bossier City, Louisiana where the Red River Mustang Club and local volunteers hosted them for a southern style beef brisket dinner and Mardi Gras parade.  From there they are off to Birmingham, Alabama for the 45th Mustang anniversary bash put on by Ford and The Mustang Club of America.

Below I have gathered up several photos of the event at Ford Country of Lewisville.  Enjoy...
