2009 mustang sales

The first line of these Mustang sales figures posts are getting pretty regular so I thought I would change it up a bit, there I just did. Now lets move on to the bad news yet again as March Ford Mustang sales are down 63.5% from March of the previous year. The only bright spot for Mustang sales in March are the Month to month sales which actually increased 721 units or 24% from February. I guess you could say it's something positive but with sales so low it's hard to get excited about anything just yet. From now till the end of the year I expect Mustang sales to increase each month as more and more 2010 Mustangs hit dealerships.

Sales of Ford Mustangs for March of 2009 were 3,711 compared to 10,180 from March of 2008 showing a 63.5% decrease in sales from the previous year. Year to date Mustang sales are 9,645 compared to 24,477 for 2008, which is a 60.6% drop.
