On the March 26th episode of TLC's 'Street Customs' tv show the guys from West Coast Customs built a
one-of-kind wide body Dodge Challenger R/T for Josh 'Chop' Towbin, co-owner of Towbin
Dodge and star of A&E's 'King of Cars'. Looks like ownership did not last to long as 'Chop' has put the car up for auction on Ebay. One good thing from the auction being posted is they have included all the details and several photos for all who missed the show. Some of the highlights of the vehile are the convertible top which was built by Coach LTD, full custom suspension by West Coast Customs, one-off Asanti wheels, Prototype Gibson exhaust and the custom interior. Who knows what the car cost to build but my guess is around $85K. As of writing this the auction has 3 1/2 days left with the high bid being $55,300 and the reserve has not been met. If you got the cash or are just curious head on over to the
Ebay auction.
Photos and complete details are below.
Details: Custom fabricated wide body rear fenders, Working power convertible top built by Coach LTD (w/ Full warranty), Power rear windows, Full West Coast Custom interior, MOPAR TA Hood (Flat black), Full custom suspension built by WCC, One-off 26"+24" 3-piece flat black and white Asanti wheels + Pirelli tires P275/24ZR/24...P295/25ZR/26, Top of the line Polk Audio System. High performance amplifier and subwoofers. Fiber glass painted to match enclosure system, Flat black spoiler, Prototype Gibson Exhaust (One-off), Custom flat black retro striping and a Blacked out rear tail lamp.
