Video: Lamborghini LP560-4 Gallardo vs Shelby GT500, Not Even Close

Have you ever wondered how American muscle like the Shelby GT500 stands up to say a Lamborghini LP560-4 Gallardo. Well, we now have the answer and it's not pretty as the Lamborghini LP560-4 Gallardo destroys a Shelby GT500 pumping out 600 horsepower. Even though the GT500 (600 hp) has more horsepower then the Lamborghini (560 hp) it's still no match because the curb weight of the Gallardo is over 600 lbs. less than the GT500. That factor alone is what decides this race.

The Lamborghini LP560-4 Gallardo has a 5.2-liter V-10 pumping out 560 horsepower utilizing all-wheel-drive while weighing in at 3307 lbs. and the Shelby GT500 is claimed to have 600 horsepower from the video and it has a 3,920 lb curb weight. The price tag on the Lamborghini is north of $200K while the Shelby GT500 can be had for around $45K. Something three times the price tag of another should be dominant but is it practical.     I believe that the GT500 has 500 HP. GT KR has 540. SS(super snake) has 625 or 700. Where did 600 come from?

    ok one thing that gt500 is from 05-09 meaning that it only has 500hp not 600 put a 2011 lamborghini vs 2011 gt500 supersnake the gt500 will leave the lambo eating dust in less that 4 seconds since the 2011 gt500 supersnake can have up to 800hp no matter if the lambo is less heavier...gt will win MUSCLE POWER
