This will be the second go around for the first retail production 2010 Shelby GT500 coupe that was scheduled to be auctioned at the original Barrett-Jackson event in January but Carroll Shelby came down with a cold and the event was rescheduled for the Palm Beach auction.  This time around at the 7th annual Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach event everything is in place for the first 2010 Shelby GT500 (Lot# 665) to bring big money.  Adorned in Kona Blue with white stripes the Shelby GT500 color was personally chosen by Carroll Shelby.  All proceeds from this auction above MSRP value of the Shelby GT500 will be donated to The Carroll Shelby Children's Foundation.  The auction will take place Saturday April 11th with LIVE coverage provided by the SPEED channel.
