According to the boys over at Red Letter Dodge the classic color B5 Blue is now officially available to be ordered for the 2009 Dodge Challenger SRT8 Spring Special and the 2009 Challenger R/T Classic.  The B5 Blue color will be a $225 option on top of your order.  Dodge is only offering this special paint for a limited time so head to your local Dodge dealer before all the paint orders are allocated.

For those who don't remember we have already been teased with this classic B5 Blue color once before when it adorned the 43rd 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8 off the assembly line.  The car was custom made to pay homage to racing legend Richard Petty and his #43 car.  The Challenger was auctioned off on Ebay last February with all of the proceeds going to Petty's Victory Junction Gang Camp.

  5. I went to get my oil changed in my 2007 Dodge Charger, with 3,100 miles on it and came home with a 2009 B-5 Challenger Classic with a 6-speed manual trans. I love the car, and I am wondering the production numbers on the B-5 Classic.

  6. Anyone interested in obtaining production numbers according to model, color, trans, and engine specs for their Dodge Challenger can visit allpar.com. I am especially interested because for 2010 B5 Pearl Blue was suspended. So we fortunate few have a true 'Classic'.
