For those of you who own a 2007 Ford Mustang in V-6, GT or Shelby GT500 form I have come across something you might be interested in.  I have actually been in possession of these numbers for awhile but have finally decided to pull it out of the vault so to speak and post them up.  What I have are the 2007 Ford Mustang production numbers for all V6, GT and Shelby GT500 coupe and convertibles broken down by exterior paint color. Like I say with all the Mustang production numbers I post, take them at face value because although they look official they might not be.  I do know one thing that makes me feel good about these numbers is how the Shelby GT500 figures match up exactly with the numbers I posted on my other site MustangHeaven.com.

A few highlights from the numbers below show us Black (UA) was the most produced paint color by more than 12K units over  Performance White (HP) which was the second most produced color.  The color with the least amount of units produced was Grabber Orange.  The rarest of the models by color choice and one of my favorite color choices is the Shelby GT500 Convertible produced in Alloy (G5) with only 108 units produced.  Also V-6 Mustang Mustangs produced beat out GT models by more than 26K units.  This number does not surprise me as it's like this almost every year.  Check out all the numbers below.  If you feel any of the numbers are wrong please email me and state your case.

    Wow.... I didn't realize that my 2007 Mustang Gt Convertible - Grabber Orange was 1 of only 539 made. I have seen several of the coupes and GT 500's, but not any other Orange convertibles. May be something I should hang onto. Although I love the car anyhow.

    I just bought a 2007 shelby gt 350 black on black with gray rally stripes and
    short throw shifter I would love to know how many of this car was made I can't seem to find any info on the 350 everything I can find is on the 500

    Interesting Chart. Sure would be cool to see the "Shelby GT" and the "California Special" numbers added. Judy, I suspect you own a Shelby GT, not a "350". Some people referred to that car as the 350 and some people even added 350 decals, but there really is no such car (until the new 2011 Shelby 350 post title car for 2011. Anyway, enjoyed the chart. Hope you could add the other pre-title Mustangs to it.

    Its likely the GT350 you list is just a regular Mustang GT with some extra stickers and a shifter added. If it is an original Shelby it should have the plate between the center air conditioning ducts with a serial number on it.
