First 2010 Shelby GT500 Rescheduled for Palm Beach Auction in April

If you were watching the Barrett-Jackson collector car auction like me with excitement Saturday night waiting for the first 2010 Shelby GT500 (Lot#1347.2) to be auctioned then you were sorely dissapointed because it never happend. According to Drew Phillips over at AutoBlog.com, the official word from BJ was Carroll Shelby came down with a cold a few days before the auction and could not make it. With Carroll Shelby playing a big part in the GT500's development both Ford and Shelby decided to postpone the auction. So the first 2010 Shelby GT500 has been rescheduled for the Palm Beach auction in April around the time the GT500's will be coming off the assembly line.
