The 2010 Shelby GT500 order guide has hit the web and in it we see a few surprises but nothing to get us excited. A few changes from the previous year include new color choices, new 19-inch wheels for the coupe and 3.55 rear gears. The same supercharged 5.4L 4V V8 mated to the Tremec 6-speed tranny will be under the hood, no mention of horsepower numbers. Some are speculating a cold air intake will be added to bump hp to the KR level of 540.
Other new features include auto headlamp, AdvanceTrac electronic stability control, capless fuel filler, event data recorder, SOS post crash alert system and SYNC. The new Electronics package which includes voice-activated Navigation system and dual climate control from the
2010 Mustang GT is optional. In the wheel department 19"x 9.5" Premium painted Aluminum wheels with Goodyear
Eagle F1's will only be available on
coupes, convertible GT500's will get bright machined aluminum 18" x 9.5" wheels.
In the stripe department, over-the-top and GT500 side stripes are now standard on coupe and
convertible with interior choice determining the exterior stripe color. New colors include Grabber Blue and Kona Blue Metallic.
For all the details check out the
2010 Shelby GT500 Order Guide.
