All the junkyard photos can be seen here.

Maps.live.com - Aerial View, click on "birds eye" for better view, go back to the south east and keep looking over the whole field until you get to a small river or stream.  Its amazing how many cars you can see in the woods.

  1. "WOW" I do scale modeling of 1/25th scale cars in junkyard settings.I thought my junkyard dioramas were suitably cluttered with shrubbery, junk parts, and the rusting hulks of the cars.My dioramas are waaaaay toooo neat! This is great reference material for future projects,

  4. Convertibles, Mach 1’s, Boss's, K-codes, and fastbacks yeah! I believe you, but Shelby's I really doubt it. Most of those Shelby Mustangs are gone or already restored and besides even if you do find one. The amount of money it would take to restore one would be INSANE!.
I'll stop by and check it out just to be sure.
    Thanks for the info!

  5. Wow! Great find. I don't know whether to be excited at the possibility of so many great resto projects or depressed at the fact that they've been sitting so long that many are probably rotted away.

I agree that Shelby's are unlikely to still be there, but you do wonder how many lesser known rarities may be hiding there like California Specials, Twister Specials, Color of the Month cars, Lone Star Specials, etc.

It would be great to get a VIN list and run it by Marti Auto to get the low down on what's there. Like panning for gold!

  10. "mrs"

Would like to know more on this JY. When will they start taking care of this area and how will it be handled. I have a '68 2 door coupe and still need a couple of parts. Also if anyone is interested we have a few parts we found in the trunk when we bought the car and are willing to sell them.

  17. Email me p_celani at hotmail.com I live 5 minutes from the place. Most are still there, however the crusher is out. Seems like he's willing to sell, but you'll need a 4X4 to get back there.
