Our weekly
2010 Mustang photo tease has arrived with a snapshot of the dash, instruments, steering wheel, ac vents and a partial view of the new center digital display. Lets start with the AC vents as they have been replaced by cleaner looking ones that sit flush with the dash panel. The middle vents which include a 12V power supply like the previous model are now a rectangular shape which is due in large part to less space.
Moving on to the instruments you can clearly see the rpm's have been moved back to the right side and the miles per hour to the left. In the middle of those sit four gauges, Gas, Tempature, Battery, and Oil pressure. Another new design feature for the 2010 Mustang will be genuine aluminum trim panels around the gauges and dash.
Briefly about the lights switch, you may notice a new feature for the Mustang, automatic lights which is nothing new but for the Mustang GT it's a first. Below the light switch are three new buttons, Info, Setup and Reset. These buttoms have to do with display options.
The
2010 Mustang steering wheel as seen before in a previous photos will be wrapped in leather for the Mustang GT and Shelby models only. Genuine aluminum accents will also be present on the spokes and in the middle with the new pony logo. The ergonomically designed controls on the steering wheel include cruise control, volume control, an "End/Send" and "Media" button.
The last thing we get a glimps of is the new digital display for the radio and media controls along with the new dual climate control. You can clearly see on the display the exterior temp, dual climate temps, media type and time are shown. There are definately alot of subtle features added which will excite most Mustang fans.
Check out all the high-res detailed photos after the jump...
