With all the magazine articles, blog posts and friends of friends who think they know something about whats in store for the 2010 Mustang I thought why not make a list of all the rumors that are flying around. I think for the most part if you are web savy and read forums/blogs you know at this point the 2010 Mustang is being refreshed with some new body panels and interior work. Below I will list the rumors floating around that I have come across.

1. Let's start with numero uno rumor on the list, it has to be the rumor of a 400 horsepower 5.0L motor moving into the engine bay for 2010. In my opinion it's unlikely we will see that big of a horsepower jump in a 5-year span. If you look back at the history of horsepower in Mustangs gone by you will see that HP ratings do not jump like most are predicting for the 2010 Model. Look below for the horsepower by year list:

  1. Well now, isn't that interesting. No Shelby GT for 2009. It's probably due to the fact that all the dealers I went to wanted to mark them 10 to 15,000 above MSRP. I have wanted a Shelby since the day I walked into Koons ford in Va.(1967) So now I'm making a decent living and now at MSRP I could have paid cash. But no.. they want to jack the pricing up beyond reason. I settled for a GT/CS instead. I love it, but it is not the Shelby I have always wanted. Greed is an interesting thing. Thanks FORD dealers for continuing to take away a dream. Anything over MSRP is robbery. They already have a nice profit at that price. I know, I used to sell FORD's when I got out of the service in 75'.
