Saleen Unveiling Power Sliding Glass Roof for S197 Mustang in New York

All we have so far is a picture but we do know Saleen is unveiling this Power Sliding Glass Roof for the S197 Mustang at the New York International Auto Show this week.  From the looks of the photo above Saleen is partnering with ASC to create this Power Sliding Glass Roof.  Also in the photo you can see how the roof slides back over the rear window, not sure what it's sliding on though.  I guess we will have to wait for the press release and photos which should come any day.  For those who don't know Saleen and ASC are owned by the same company and are also partnering to build the 650 horsepower mid-engine S5S Raptor.

  3. I doubt it, it's probably a Saleen specific option if it gets produced. You never know because the Glass Roof option made its way to the Mustang, why not a power sliding one.

  6. I think this is one of the coolest body mods I have seen for the Mustangs. I've thought about getting a glassback put on my 06 stang, but am not entirely sure about it. BUT if it was a power sliding glass roof...sign me up for sure!

That car is sick all over. That hood is bad ass and I like those back quarter panel covers more than any others I have seen.
