Ford Racing is teaming up with Miller Motorsports Park to bring you an all-new professional racing series utilizing the new affordable ($75K)
Ford Mustang FR500S that Ford unveiled this week at the SEMA show in Las Vegas. The series will be called 'The Ford Racing Mustang Challenge for the Miller Cup presented by BFGoodrich Tires.
The series will consist of eight races held over selected weekends throughout 2008. Each race weekend will include two 30-minute practice sessions, a 25-minute qualifying session and a 45-minute race with drivers competing for purses and prizes of $300K. Not just any average Joe with $75K and a dream can race in the series as all drivers must have a national-level racing license.
