The recently completed
Glassback GT500 project from Classic Design Conepts and Stangnet was given some final touches in the form of audio equipment from Rockford Fosgate. Rockford Fosgate's Mustang audio package was specifically designed for the Shelby GT500 which includes an amazing 2 Kilowatts of power.
The system includes a pair of P2D48 8-inch woofers, powered by a T400-2 power series amp putting out 400-watts for the front door speakers. For the front and rear factory locations that house the 6.5-inch speakers, Rockford chose to add the P162S 6.5 component speakers using a Power 1000 amplifier, a single 5-channel 1,400-watt model that is Rockfords flagship. The only thing missing is the bass and Rockford did not forget about it as they installed a P2D412 Punch 12-inch subwoofer mounted it in a custom molded enclosure in the passenger side trunk area. On the opposite side of the subwoofer in the trunk is a matching amplifier rack.
All the audio equipment was mounted nice and neat out of the way inside the trunk leaving space for just about anything. It almost looks as if it came this way from the factory but once the radio is turned up you definately know this is no ordinary audio setup.
