I found this
auction a bit late but thought why not post it up with all the Bullitt news lately. For a 39 year old car this 1968 Mustang GT 390 with it's original engine, Highland
Green paint and black interior is a dead on ringer for the car Steve McQueen drove in the
Bullitt movie. The car sports it's original 390 big block engine putting out somewhere in the 400 horsepower range with a rebuild taking place about 5K miles ago. The owner says the car is a solid 7 on a scale of 1-10 and has a Marti report to verify it's originality.
As of writing this the auction has 6 bids up to the $25K mark with the reserve not being met and the car can be yours for a buy it now of $38,500. Check out the auction and all the details
here.
