2005 Ford Mustang Production Numbers

For those of you who own a 2005 Mustang whether it be a GT or V6 have you ever wondered how many of your exact car exist, if so you should head on over to my other site MustangHeaven.com where I have added a section for 2005 Mustang production numbers with the mother of all breakdowns.  The numbers are broken down by model, color, interior color, convertible top color, and transmission type so you can find out exactly how many cars like yours are on the road.  It took me about a week off and on to plug in all the numbers into the proper places but I finally finished to give you owners something to reference.  I hope you enjoy, check it out at MustangHeaven.com.

  7. Looking for statistics on a 2006 Saleen S-281 AS I have a screaming yellow rag top.The sales person told me they produced 25 of these. Needless to say that they did not speak the truth about a number of things. Anyway do you know of any web sights that would be of help? Thanks,Charles E Dieppe

  13. I have an extremely early production 2005 Torch Red, GT Coupe, Premium pkg with Red/Charcoal Leather, Shaker 500 etc. Missing some of the GT interior dress up items like the brushed Alu. sill plates and the Red color Keyed floor mats. This car was a pre release demo toured to several dealerships before the official 2005 release. Window sticker has no price - indicates "Vehicle not for Sale". VIN places it in the first 1600 cars produced. Wonder if there is any way to narrow down the exact number produced with specific options?

  14. After about 2 years I got production numbers from Saleen for the 2006 Saleen S-281 convertible.I consider myself lucky to own one of the eleven screaming yellow ragtops. The following is what I received from Saleen today.
A total of 172, S281 convertibles were built in 2006. Of the 172, less than 12%, 11 units to be exact, had the Screaming Yellow exterior color and Dark Charcoal interior.
