Steeda Autosports has decided to join the party all be it a little late with their new modified Steeda GT500. They chose to unveil the car at the 2007 Camp Steeda/SVT Owners Association Open Track event at
Sebring International Raceway last weekend. Steeda uses the base GT500 as a starting point and then adds the basic parts like a cold air intake, a tune and a supercharger pulley. Those parts alone would add considerable horsepower gains but Steeda always thinking bigger adds a full host of suspension parts, brakes, wheels, shifter and stainless steel exhaust to take the GT500 to the ultimate level.
One thing
Steeda forgot to mention in their news release was how much power will this baby put down. My guess on horsepower would be at least 600 and maybe even more after it gets tuned just right. I am not sure Steeda will be selling to many of these at the asking price of $13,995 for the upgrade, so if you are lucky enough or dumb enough to spend that kind of money you may want to hold on to it because it should be pretty rare.
