New Dual Friction Centerforce Clutch For V6 Mustangs

I know what you are thinking and your probably asking yourself why does a V6 Mustang need a performance clutch.  Well because these days you can take a stock V6 Mustang right off the dealer lot and add some bolt-ons, a supercharger or turbo to make as much if not more reliable horsepower and torque then your basic GT for thousands less.  It's a scary thought for most GT owners but it's the plain simple truth that there are V6 Mustangs running around that could give some GT owners a run for their money.

To give V6 Mustang owners some piece of mind who have high torque, high horsepower applications Centerforce is introducing a new Dual Friction clutch assembly for 2005-07 Ford Mustangs with the 4.0L V6 engine.

  1. I'm trying to find out if it is common for clutches in 2006 mustangs to go bad and need replaced? That's what we're looking at. It isn't covered under warranty and we're a little concerned about why this part would go bad so quickly!
    Thanks,
