Forget about buying the Shelby GT500 KR with 540 horsepower for upwards of $50K, why not just buy a Shelby GT500 and add two bolt-ons plus a tune from Steeda for an extra 144 hp at around $1500. Steeda has come out with a new Cold Air Kit specifically designed for the Shelby GT500 that produces the greatest power gains of any kit on the market combined with their Custom SCT Tune. The horsepower generated from the kit and tune equal 97 additional horsepower to the rear wheels. If you add Steeda's Supercharger pulley to those two mods horsepower jumps to 144 additional rear wheel horsepower and they have the dyno results to prove it.
