Ever wanted to swap out the old tired solid axle from your Fox-Body Mustang for the smooth riding Independant Rear Suspension of the 99-04 Cobras. Well you are luck because I found a great resource for changing out your solid axle with an IRS setup from 99-04 Cobras. The How-to-Article gives you step by step instructions wth high-res photos on the installation of a 99 Cobra IRS into a 92 5.0L coupe.  The whole process seems to be relatively straight forward if you know your way around the garage and have the right tools.  Check out the How-To-Article here.

    I have a 1982 straight 6/automatic and would like to replace the automatic with the 5-speed from a 1987 with a 4-cylinder. Does anyone know if this is an easy fit without modifications? Thanks, guys!
